Lower trapezius has always been the weakest point in my bag and being slightly kyphotic I have had a hard time bringing up the details in my back. Now that I’ve got an awesome coach and a professional eye on me, I am ready to bring the best version of myself to the stage this year. Here I am doing what coach calls ‘scapula slide’. As you all know how the lats are attached to the bone and by putting it in it’s natural plane of movement and just sliding the sub scapular to a protracted position and then into a retracted position you will be engaging the lower traps to pull in your arms into the middle plane of the body.
